Fears grow for missing 10-year-old boy who was last seen riding a girl’s pink and white bicycle around rural Derbyshire village

  • Mitchell Heck disappeared from village of Pleasley, near Mansfield, on Thursday
  • He was spotted riding bicycle twice before 10pm but has not been seen since 
  • Mitchell is described as 4ft tall, with blond hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a navy t-shirt, grey jogging bottoms and black and white Nike trainers

Fears are growing after a 10-year-old boy who was last seen riding his bicycle went missing two nights ago.

Mitchell Heck disappeared from a house in the village of Pleasley, near Mansfield, Derbyshire, at around 8.45pm on Thursday.  

He was spotted twice cycling on a pink and white girl’s bike at 9.35pm and 9.45pm along a main road – but he’s not been seen since.

Mitchell is described as 4ft tall, with blond hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a navy t-shirt, grey jogging bottoms and black and white Nike trainers.

Residents rallied together to conduct their own search in the area last night. 

The youngster is said to have links with the Mansfield area.
