Don’t Let That Headpiece Distract You — It’s All About Sarah Jessica Parker’s Silvery Blue Shadow
Just when you thought Sarah Jessica Parker’s style sense couldn’t get any more sublime, she appeared on the Met Gala red carpet in a breathtaking Dolce & Gabanna gown and insanely detailed nativity scene headress. Leave it to SJP to take this year’s Met Gala theme, Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination, to an unearthly new heights. Although the brocade gold ensemble and crown took center stage, her green goddess eyeshadow, created by makeup artist Leslie Lopez, exclusively using Charlotte Tilbury Beauty, was equally as eye-catching.
Lopez created the eye look using five different Charlotte Tilbury eye products. The most vibrant of the layers is the Eyes to Mesmerise cream shadow in Cleopatra ($32), a teal cream that was used to rim the top and bottom lash line. A new shade of Eyes to Mesmerise called Star Gold ($32) was also applied to SJP’s lids, along with a champagne gold shade from the brand’s new Bigger Brighter Eyes Transform-Eyes palette ($53). She finished off the accent with Tilbury’s new Legendary Lashes Volume 2 mascara in Black Vinyl ($32) to make the star’s eyes pop.
