Cruella de Vil From 101 Dalmatians
Hairstylists who are out of work right now due to the coronavirus are getting creative for charity with a new hair challenge by Wella Professionals. In the #WellaStreamStyles challenge, stylists are creating characters from their favorite movie or TV show to support a good cause. While there’s a surplus of great hairstyle re-creations to choose from, we have to call attention to the Disney looks in particular because they’re making us feel all kinds of nostalgic.
From Disney princesses to 101 Dalmatians, and even The Incredibles, the stylists participating in the challenge really pulled out all the stops. Some re-created the looks on themselves while others used mannequin heads. They then showed off their handiwork on Instagram and shared information about the Hairdressers at Heart program to spread awareness and help raise money for industry professionals hit hardest by the pandemic.
Wella Professionals’ parent company, Coty Professional Beauty, recently donated $200,000 to the Hairdressers at Heart fund, awarding beauty professionals with up to $1,000 to use at their discretion, and now, Wella Professionals is donating an additional $30,000 to the disaster relief.
See some of the best Disney hair re-creations from the stylists, ahead.
