It’s been a bittersweet few days for Corrie actress Lucy Fallon as filming of her final scenes on set comes to a close.

The 24-year-old actress, who has played Sarah Platt’s daughter Bethany Platt on the Coronation Street cobbles for four years, posted an emotional farewell to her cast members on social media.

“I filmed my last on screen @itvcorrie scene today only 2 more filming days left," she said on Twitter on Thursday.

“Only 2 more filming days left… a lil space in my ♥️ for this lot 4ever x” she then shared on Instagram with a picture alongside other cast members.

Followers on her social media were quick to remind the actress that she will be sorely missed in her role.

“You do know you are one of our favourites xxx,” one message said.

It doesn’t look like the young actress will be out of work very long, with a number of TV appearances already rumoured for the blonde bombshell.

The soap star, 24, is said to be now taking a role on on Cruising With Jane McDonald in which she'll review a luxury cruise ship with the reality TV star.

According to The Daily Star, producers from I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here are desperate to sign her for the next series.

It's said that after the success of the latest queen of the jungle, EastEnders star Jacqueline Jossa, and fellow Corrie regular Andrew Whyment, producers want to get another bubbly soap star on board.
