Caprice Bourret claims her split from her Dancing On Ice partner Hamish Gaman was not her fault, and was down to his "bullying" behaviour.

The model, 48, reportedly told friends he "pushed her too hard" during gruelling rehearsals for the ITV show.

It comes after reports Caprice caused the controversial split by being a "diva", which she furiously denies.

A source told The Sun : “Caprice felt she was being pushed far too hard by Hamish in training and said she felt bullied.

“She struggled to understand Hamish’s complicated instructions and said she felt he was berating her when she couldn’t pick up the moves as easily as some of the other celebs.

Caprice also revealed Hamish would cancel their training session altogether if she made just three mistakes, which made her nervous.

The source added Caprice was "upset" by the reports her diva behaviour had caused the break up, because she blames it on Hamish.

An ITV spokesperson said: "We have seen no evidence of the alleged bullying on Dancing on Ice and strongly refute any suggestion to the contrary.

“We’re very proud of the team, both on and off screen.

"They produce a fantastic show and we are committed to ensuring that everyone who works on the programme is fully supported."

It was announced on the weekend that Caprice and Hamish had parted ways and that she would be returning to the ice this weekend, with a different partner.

Caprice will now be coached by Swiss skater Oscar Peter, as she looks set to make a dramatic return following the drama.

An ITV insider previously told Mirror Online that there was no indication that their relationship was 'getting toxic' and that no 'big row' had taken place.

Dancing On Ice viewers were demanding answers at the weekend after the announcement that the couple had "parted ways".

Show co-host Phillip Schofield told viewers: "Unfortunately Caprice and Hamish have parted ways and will not be skating this week.

"As you saw in our opening number, Hamish remains very much part of our professional team and we hope to have Caprice back on the ice next week."
