Tributes have poured in for YouTube star Corey La Barrie, who has tragically died in a car crash. 

Corey was celebrating his 25th birthday on Sunday (10 May) when he was involved in an accident in Los Angeles. According to his mother Lissa Burton, he died at the scene. 

Ink Master star Daniel Silva was also said to be in the vehicle at the time but is not thought to have suffered life-threatening injuries. 

The YouTube community have expressed their shock at the news and taken to social media to remember Corey fondly. 

Reacting to the news, Faze Rug tweeted: ‘Life can be so unfair man.. RIP Corey La Barrie.’ 

Elijah Daniel said: ‘Holy f**k,, I don’t even know what to say.. rip @coreylabarrie, you were the class clown and i had so much fun on reality house with you this is f*****g stupid i hate this [sic].’ 

Friday singer Rebecca Black tweeted: ‘Oh god…this makes me incredibly sad. 

Corey’s mother Lissa had earlier confirmed his death with an emotional Instagram post and said she was ‘overwhelmed with grief’. 

His younger brother Jarrad also shared his heartbreak and said ‘life’s never gonna be the same without you’. 

Corey was a popular YouTuber boasting more than 330,000 subscribers to his personal YouTube channel. He was also known as one-half of a YouTube duo alongside Crawford Collins. Together, they had an audience of over 104,000. 

Just a few hours before the incident, he had shared his last tweet thanking fans for their birthday wishes.
