Curtis Pritchard has revealed he gained two stone during his time in the Love Island villa — after show bosses asked fans not to “body shame” him.
The 23 year old ballroom dancer enjoyed an eight week stay in the Spanish villa and away from the dance floor, leading to him piling on the pounds.
He has now addressed his weight gain and admitted he can’t wait to get back into training.
Speaking to The Sun Online, AJ Pritchard’s brother said: “I gained around two stone. I enjoyed myself in the villa and I didn’t exercise a lot.

“I liked to treat myself every now and again with food. I’m hoping to start training again soon.
“I find it good, physically and mentally. I need to sort my diet out, that’s the main thing.”
He continued: “You can work out but if you don’t have a meal plan with a decent diet you’ve got no chance.
“Hopefully AJ will give me some tips on getting a six-pack back.”
Curtis’ comments come after it was claimed Curtis asked producers to provide him with an entire new wardrobe after struggling to fit into his own.
A source told Daily Star: “Curtis took some clothes with him and there were also outfits provided by sponsors.
“But he had to ask for some new ones because he is struggling to fit into them now.
“Curtis normally burns off a lot of calories because he's a professional dancer, but obviously in the villa he's not been training.”
The reports of Curtis’ weight gain led to a Love Island spokesperson telling The Sun Online: “It is incredibly irresponsible that any Islander would be body-shamed in this way and we would always discourage anyone from making appearance-based comments that could be hurtful to the islanders and their families.”
