Foo Fighters‘ latest song, “Rescued,” has debuted atop Billboard‘s Mainstream Rock Airplay and Rock & Alternative Airplay charts.
“Rescued” is the lead single from the rock band’s upcoming eleventh studio album, But Here We Are, which is set for release on June 2.
The song received 9.9 million audience impressions in the week ending May 11, according to Luminate.
This is Foo Fighters’ 10th No. 1 song on the Rock & Alternative Airplay chart and 12th on the Mainstream Rock Airplay chart.
Upon its release on April 19, the band described “Rescued” as “the first of 10 songs that run the emotional gamut from rage and sorrow to serenity and acceptance, and myriad points in between.”
“Rescued” is the first single by the band since the death of longtime drummer Taylor Hawkins in March 2022.
