Country superstar Jason Aldean has earned his 22nd No. 1 on Billboard‘s Country Airplay chart with his latest single, “Got What I Got.”
“Got What I Got” climbed 2-1 on the chart dated October 24, benefiting from a 10 percent increase to 35.2 million audience impressions in the week ending October 18, according to Nielsen Music/MRC Data.
“We’re missing being out on the road bad,” Aldean told Billboard. “So I appreciate country radio now more than ever for having our back and helping us keep getting music out there to the fans.”
Aldean first topped Billboard‘s Country Airplay Chart with “Why” in May of 2006 and last led the chart with “Rearview Town” in August of 2019.
The 22 No. 1s gives Aldean the seventh most in the history of chart, behind Kenny Chesney (31), Tim McGraw (29), Blake Shelton (27), Alan Jackson, George Strait (26 each) and Luke Bryan (23).
Aldean revealed through a post on Instagram earlier this month that he is in the studio working on his tenth album.
