Ghislaine Maxwell, who dated disgraced dead billionaire Jeffrey Epstein, has been arrested and charged with “six counts in connection with the ongoing federal investigation into Epstein’s accomplices,” CNN reports.
Specifically, she’s charged with “enticement and conspiracy to entice minors to travel to engage in illegal sex acts, transportation and conspiracy to transport minors with intent to engage in criminal sexual activity, and two counts of perjury.” Ghislaine has consistently denied any connection to these activities. She was arrested Thursday (July 2) in New Hampshire.
Before his death, Epstein faced charges for alleged sex trafficking of minor girls as young as 14 at his homes in New York and Florida, dating back to the early 2000s.
He died by suicide in jail last August.
