Fairport Convention singer Judy Dyble has died at the age of 71. According to her agent, the London-born performer had been suffering from a long-term illness.
Following the tragic news, Fairport’s Simon Nicol shared a heartfelt tribute to the late singer.
He said: “Judy was ever a childhood friend to me first and foremost…
“She surrounded herself with loveliness, loved her kids and grandchildren, and adored her rescued greyhounds.
