Khloé Kardashian has yet to directly comment on Tristan Thompson’s trade to the Boston Celtics. But she shared an Instagram post over the weekend of Nov. 27 that might shed light on her thoughts on the career move.

Days after he inked a deal with the team, the Good American co-founder posted several somber messages online, including one about experiencing “bad days.”

Khloé Kardashian and Tristan Thompson reportedly got their relationship back on track right before his deal

After breaking things off following a cheating scandal in February 2019, Kardashian and Thompson reportedly got back together over the summer of 2020 during the coronavirus (COVID-19) quarantine.

People reported in August that the pair had decided to give its relationship another shot. Neither of them addressed the rumors, but they have been seen several times looking very much like a couple, including at Kim Kardashian West’s 40th birthday celebration in October, where Thompson was spotted kissing her.

As the NBA season approached, HollywoodLife reported that Thompson was allegedly hoping to sign with a California-based team to be closer to Kardashian and their 2-year-old daughter, True. But it seems the Boston Celtics made him an offer he couldn’t resist. Yahoo Sports reported on Nov. 21 that Thompson had agreed to a two-year deal for a whopping $19 million.

Khloé Kardashian shared a cryptic Instagram post amid the news

The post came on Sunday, Nov. 29, one day after Thompson reportedly headed for Boston, Massachusetts, according to Us Weekly.

“Let it go,” said the message. “Yes, they did you wrong, but you do yourself wrong the longer you hold onto that grudge.”

“Don’t let your bad days trick you into thinking that you have a bad life,” a follow-up post said while a third read, “If you really got a pure heart, you gonna win in the end. Remember that.”

Kardashian has not said whether the posts were related to Thompson and his deal. But a source previously told E! News she supported him regardless.

What life will look like for Khloé Kardashian and Tristan Thompson moving forward

The same E! News source shared some insight on what the future will look like for the two, who began dating in 2016.

The source ruled out the possibility of Kardashian moving with Thompson, explaining: “She is very much settled with True in L.A. and doesn’t intend to uproot her and their life.” But at the same time, the insider noted that this doesn’t mean the end of their relationship. “They don’t know what’s going to happen. They are still figuring things out.”
