Scottish singer Lewis Capaldi has revealed which song he wrote about Love Island star and ex-girlfriend Paige Turley.
During a 30-minute greatest hits set at Seven Dials Market in the West End on Saturday, Lewis announced which song he had written about the blonde beauty.
The 23-year-old, who is behind chart favourites such as Before You Go and Someone You Loved, told the crowd that his song Hold Me While You Wait was about a woman he was dating, where he thought it was “going well, and the lady has different ideas," according to The Sun.

Capaldi, who was performing as part of a surprise gig to promote Samsung's Galaxy S20 phone range, continued: “She thinks it's going horribly and then she leaves, and you're quite sad about it, and you write an album about it.
“And then she ends up going on Love Island.”

Lewis finished by saying: “For the record, I hope my ex-girlfriend wins Love Island. Not bitter.”
Paige Turley, 22, is a contestant on Love Island’s South Africa series, and is currently coupled up with Finley Tapp.
Before entering the villa, Paige explained that her relationship with Lewis had developed "quite naturally" as they attended school together, according to Mirror Online.

Paige, who was reportedly dating an X Factor star just months before signing up to the ITV programme, said: "He's terrible with women. He never had a chat up line as such, as we went through college together."
Opening up on how the pair became a couple, she said: "I kind of just fell into it. It was never like he tried to chat me up or such. It just kind of happened quite naturally.

"It was never like a moment where I could go, 'Oh, that was the turning point,'" she said, before adding: "It was just friendship level and then…"
Paige and Lewis, 23, dated on and off for a year and a half between 2014 to 2016 after meeting at college in Motherwell.
Ahead of entering the villa alongside 11 other islanders, Paige, who tried to claim fame on X Factor before auditioning for Love Island, said: "Lewis Capaldi is my ex boyfriend. We went out when we were younger, I was about 17 or 18. We were together for about a year. It ended really amicably and we’re still pals."
