Louis Tomlinson has vowed to marry his girlfriend Eleanor Calder and has shared a glimpse into how he dealt with the tragic loss of both his sister and mother in a candid interview.
The former One Direction star, 28, has faced unimaginable tragedy in recent years with the passing of both his sister Felicite aged 18, last year and his mum Johannah in 2016.
However, things are looking up for Louis as he's looking forward to the future with his childhood sweetheart, and the success of his latest album debut, Walls.
Louis began his romance with the stunning model, 27, following the birth of his first child Freddie Reign in 2016.
The pair's bond is so strong that now marriage rumours have begun to swirl, although Louis has been quick to insist they are premature.
Speaking to The Sun, he explains: "Yeah I saw some of that. It isn’t true, but the luxury with Eleanor is I’ve known her since before our first single What Makes You Beautiful, so she’s felt the whole growth of everything."
So is marriage a possibility? He adds: "One day, yeah, I’d imagine so. If you’re asking me if I’m going to marry her? Yes, I think so! And more kids, I’d say so."
With the prospect of starting a new family with Eleanor, Louis has also bravely opened up about losing two treasured members of the family that he already has.
After losing his 18-year-old sister Felicite to an accidental drug overdose, the X Factor judge insisted that the love his fans showed him afterwards saved him.
"Something I wasn’t prepared to feel was the love from my fans. I wasn’t ready to feel like that, but I really needed it at the time."
He continued: "What was difficult was people speculating about details straight away, discussing online what might have happened when nobody really knew, and talking about my family."
"But actually, when I looked further almost all of it was kind, and I felt loved."
Just over two years before Felicite’s death, Louis’ mother Johannah tragically passed away aged 43, following a long battle with leukaemia.
Louis has admitted that it's a loss that continues to shape his life, and will forever.
He told The Sun: "I’m still getting asked about my mum now, but I’ve grown to understand it I suppose, and I feel like I can maybe help others."
Louis said that he felt moved with fans told him his song Two Of Us, dedicated to his late mum, helped them through their grief.
The talented songwriter also shared an insight into his relationship with past One Direction band mates as he admitted that he doesn't speak to them as much as he would like.
He said he spoke to Liam Payne a few days ago but hasn't caught up with Niall Horan in months.
Louis also said he and Harry Styles speak about their music releases and have a 'mutual respect.'
The talented 28-year-old failed to divulge into his relationship with Zayn Malik, leading to speculation that there simply isn't a friendship there anymore.
