Louise Minchin, 50, is currently on a break away from presenting BBC Breakfast and is taking on a gruelling triathlon in Norway.
The host has been sharing images of herself as she got stuck into the Isklar Norseman Xtreme Tri.
Louise is taking on the incredible challenge to raise money for mental health charity, Mind.
The BBC favourite thanked “generous” people for donating to the cause as she uploaded a picture of herself from the stunning location.
In one photo, Louise could be seen wearing a rain mac whilst standing on decking in front of a ferry.
She wrote on Twitter: “Thanks to everyone sponsoring my attempt to complete @nxtri for @MindCharity you are very generous, I can’t work out how to send individual messages, but I am reading them all.
“Penny, Lizzie, Audrey, Carmel, Andy, Miriam, John thank you. I think the ferry is bigger than this!”
The day before, Louise had shared a snap of herself in her workout gear as she posed beside her bike.
The star pointed out where she would be swimming, as she gave the camera a huge grin.
She captioned the snap: “First sight of the fjord I will be swimming in for @nxtri #norseman and I know I have to jump of a ferry in the dark, hoping it’s smaller than this cruise ship!
“This time I am not just competing because it’s a massive challenge but also to raise money for an excellent charity, thanks for all of your support, it’s much appreciated https://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/fundraiser-display/showROFundraiserPage?userUrl=LouiseMinchin01&pageUrl=7.”
One person wrote: “Donated – Good luck – you’ve inspired so many to Dare to Tri.”
Another said: “Gosh I feel jealous…. bizarre cause it will be bloody hard but you’ll smash it. All that adrenaline, beautiful scenery and your determination will get you there. You’ll be grinning like a Cheshire Cat.”
“That sounds terrifying! Good luck,” a third added.
The week before, Louise revealed her concerns about being able to complete the triathlon.
“I’ve got a very large project,” Louise revealed.
“I’m trying to finish another extreme triathlon in 10 days time. My project is just to finish at this point.”
Not sounding too optimistic, Louise added: “I’ve been recently injured so hm, yeah…”
Earlier this month, Louise tore her ankle ligament after running up Snowdon.
BBC Breakfast airs on BBC One from 6am.
