Olivia Buckland has revealed she's getting "so much better" at handling her crippling social anxieties, which previously left her too scared to eat in front of friends and family when she was in school.
Speaking about her childhood days, the 26 year old explained she was too nervous to eat because she was constantly worried about what people would think of her.
The Cocoa Brown ambassador, who raves about the affordable prices of the tanning brand, exclusively told OK! Online: "I’ve had it [anxiety] since school really. I never used to eat in school because I was so scared of what people would think I’d look like."

Expanding on her experience, she said: "I never wanted to queue up for food and go get food or be seen eating food. It’s really strange when I look back but from the time that I was in school I couldn’t eat in front of anyone.
"But when I got home I used to scoff my face," she added.
"I’ve always had a slight bit of it eating when I was young and never knew what it was because back then people never spoke about it – which is why I’m so open now."
Olivia, who recently said her body is a "nuisance", explained when she was in that position she would've loved a celebrity to speak out so she would've known how to deal with her emotions.
She said: "In that position, I would’ve absolutely adored someone talking about it so now I feel like I have a responsibility to speak about it."
She's since been working to overcome those social fears as she said: "I’ve definitely been there, but I’m getting so much better.
"I've just gradually grown up and learned ways to handle it. Now I’ve got my face in public, I’ve definitely found ways to handle it."
However, the Love Island star confessed: "I think it’ll always be there slightly, it’s just part of who I am."
Olivia, who recently confessed she's in no rush to have children with husband Alex Bowen, went on to tell us that she recently overcame her anxiety of working out with a personal trainer.
The reality star said before Christmas she started getting into fitness by boxing and doing exercises with a PT, something she said she's never done before.
Explaining why, she said: "I’m always so anxious to go to the gym with a personal trainer. It was more sort of if I didn’t know the person and having them train me and what if I did something wrong?
"I’ve booked PT’s before and cancelled last minute because I was so scared to go."

"I've massively overcome that," she said, before adding: "This year, one of my biggest goals to keep on with my PT, keep on boxing."
As the face of Cocoa Brown, Olivia also explained that sporting a good tan has boosted her confidence.
While she admitted she's had her fair share of odd fake tan moments, explaining she used to be "quite orange" when she was younger, she said "when you have a tan you just feel so much more confident within yourself."
She continued: "It definitely slims you down and makes you feel more toned when you have a tan."
