The day before he was fatally shot by home intruders Pop Smoke had accidentally shared his address on social media, according to reports.

It was confirmed yesterday the rapper, real name Bashar Jackson, has been killed in an attempted robbery at his Hollywood Hills home.

The rapper was said to have been shot by trespassers, according to TMZ.

Now it’s been reported the 20-year-old star posted his home address in an Instagram video.

In the now-expired clip he was giving fans an insight into the amount of gifts he’d been sent, after his mix tape hit number 7 on the Billboard chart earlier in the week, which were lined up in the hallway of his LA home.

As he showed off his bags of goodies from fashion label Amiri, the delivery address was still visible on one of the labels.

TMZ has now claimed the attack was ‘targeted’ citing surveillance footage as showing four men approach the home at around 4:30am and sneak around back.

It’s then reported three of the men then went up the side of the home to the front, while the other man walked in the backdoor which had no camera focused on it. He then exits from the front door.

A friend of one of the several individuals inside the property had made the call to authorities, stating the home had been broken into ‘by multiple suspects and that one of them was armed with a handgun’.

At least one of the suspects was wearing a mask as Laurie added: ‘When officers arrived there approximately six minutes later, they discovered a victim inside the house had been shot.

‘They called the fire department who arrived and transported that victim to Cedars-Sinai hospital where he was pronounced dead some hours later.’

Tributes for Pop Smoke have poured in with Nicki Minaj commenting: ‘The Bible tells us that jealousy is as cruel as the grave. Unbelievable. Rest in Peace, Pop.’

50 Cent said: ‘R.I.P to my man Pop Smoke, No sympathy for winners. God bless him.’

Chance The Rapper shared his condolences writing: ‘Rest Up Pop Smoke, you were too young. God Bless and comfort your family. What a crazy trajectory you were on man smh.’

Kylie Jenner tweeted: ‘Rest in peace pop smoke.’
