Prince Harry on Thursday posted a social media video of what might be his last-ever royal engagement — backed by a Stone Roses song with the lyrics, “I’d like to leave the country.”

The subliminal message appeared on the Duke of Sussex’s Instagram story on the account shared with wife Meghan Markle.

Tellingly, the video plays along with the Stone Roses’ hit “This is the One” in the background — with the lyric about leaving the UK “for a month of Sundays” taken as an obvious nod to his Megxit plans to live in Canada.

The UK band’s classic is also a paean to a loved one — perhaps also a sign that Harry, 35, was willing to do whatever it takes to be with his duchess, who is already in Canada with their baby son, Archie.

“A girl consumed by fire, we all know her desire — from the plans that she has made, I had her on a promise,” the lyrics go. “All the plans that I have made — this is the one,” the song says, threatening to “burn the town where I was born.”

In the video, Harry turns around to flash a huge smile before entering the palace room to face waiting cameras for what insiders believe could be his last formal royal engagement.

The rugby-loving royal’s behind-the-scenes video showed him smiling and laughing as he mixed with officials at the event, helping with the official draw for the 2021 Rugby League World Cup.

He avoided questions about last week’s dramatic Megxit announcement — but made joked with some youngsters as they played on the palace grounds.

“Look after the grass though, yeah? Otherwise I’ll get in trouble,” he cracked, according to The Sun.
