A six-song set recorded by Slipknot at Maida Vale Studios in London on January 26 for BBC Radio 1‘s “Rock Show,” was aired by the station on February 9.
The six songs contained in the set were, “Unsainted,” “Psychosocial,” “The Devil in I,” “Duality,” “Disasterpiece” and “Wait And Bleed.” Around 120 fans reportedly witnessed the band’s performance at the studios.
“Welcome to the weirdest gig we’ve ever played,” frontman Corey Taylor noted before the performance of “Unsainted.”
The full “Rock Show” episode included an interview with several band members and additional music.
Video footage of the “Unsainted” and “Duality” renditions are available on YouTube.
Earlier last week, Slipknot announced the dates for their upcoming Knotfest Roadshow, which will feature A Day to Remember, Underoath and Code Orange.
The tour is set to commence on May 30 with a show at St. Joseph’s Health Amphitheater at Lakeview in Syracuse, New York, and conclude on June 25 with a concert at The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion in The Woodlands, Texas.
