The Kardashian empire is firmly securing its next generation of social media stars, with the kids frequently featuring on their mums' accounts.

Although we’ve been keeping up with at least ten of Kris Jenner’s grandchildren in the past few years, it might be likely that they have Instagram accounts ready for them.

This at least appears to be the case for Khloe Kardashian ’s daughter, one-year-old True Thompson, who allegedly had an Instagram account created for her just days after she was born.

The account is yet to have any posts on it, and detailing just the name ‘True Thompson’ it is unclear whether the profile is actually run by the high-profile family.

Perhaps, however, parents Khloe and Tristan Thompson have decided to leave the posting for when she’s old enough.

Despite being an empty profile, 140,000 followers are loyally ready for when the toddler is old enough to post her own selfie, if the account is real.

What’s probably more alarming is the staggering amount of fan pages and fake profiles that have been set up for each of the children.

Kim Kardashian shares four children with husband Kanye West – North, six, Saint, three, Chicago, two and Psalm, eight months. Even their youngest child has dozens of Instagram profiles created in their name, and some of these clearly fake pages even gather thousands of followers.

The queen of social media has spoken in the past about trying to keep her kids away from social media.

"My kids are a little too young to want [to use social media] now, but I think it’s so important," Kim said on the subject of monitoring their online activity.

"It’s about boundaries," she added. "At home, I don’t have my phone. Dinner time, breakfast time, there’s no phone."

Just today Kim Kardashian posted a series of hilarious pictures of her daughter North West who had attempted to decorate her siblings’ faces like the clown from It.

In an interview with Reuters last year, Kim also said: “‘I would definitely be that mum monitoring my kids on social media as they grow up.

“I don’t know what it would be like to grow up with social media, I grew up before cell phones, so I don’t know what that would be like… there’s a lot of downfalls with social media such as having to deal with negativity on it.”
