A Very Yorkshire Brothel viewers were left shocked last night as the owners of a ‘massage parlour’ revealed the most unusual fetish requests they have received.
Kath, 56, who has been running City Sauna in Sheffield with daughter Jenni, 32, for the last five years, appeared on the ITV programme last night.
The mother-daughter duo admitted that fetishes are becoming increasingly common and ‘strange’, including requests to be wrapped in cotton wool, to engage in balloon popping and food play, and most recently to be ‘vacuum packed’ – which they rejected.
Many of those watching were stunned by the revelations, with one commenting: ‘Why, oh why?’

Kath and Jenni, who only take part in the administrative side, manage a series of six girls on a steady rota, with Jenni doing the hiring and calendar while Kath keeps the room sparkling and does the bookkeeping.

The parlour is open seven days a week from 10am until 9pm, and until 5am on weekends, and charges a £15 entry fee, while any transaction between the masseuse and their client is kept between them.

Speaking about letting clients into her home, she explained: ‘Anonymity is important when you see clients at home because you have to think of your safety.
‘Clients don’t get my address, they get a parking spot on the main road and I tell them to give me a ring when they have parked, and I direct them to my house.

‘No one is allowed to park on my street. It’s my home, it’s not a sauna where you can drop in whenever you want.’
She continued: ‘I want to see saunas and massage parlours legalised because we’re not safe the way the laws are set up now. We all have the right to be able to work safe.’
Admitting that the number of workers that have left the brothel to work from home has increased, brothel owner Kath said: ‘It is a big risk for them working from home because you never know who you’re letting into the door.

‘You’re there all on your own. I do know a few girls who have met customers and they’ve actually been gang raped.’
And Lily also revealed the harder side of her industry, recalling when she was ‘outed’ in her community and her details were posted online, seen by her neighbours.
‘I had a good relationship with my neighbours but haven’t been able to face them since I was outed,’ she said.
‘It’s not illegal to buy or sell sex – I’ve been morally targeted.
‘I have to leave and plan to move to Glasgow’, she concluded.
Getting emotional while speaking about Lily’s experience, Kath said: ‘She was really ill, crying and lost loads of weight. She lost lots of clients, it was so hard for her’.
