The discount retailer Aldi is famous for its low prices and special items.

Each week, it will bring out new products as part of its Special Buys promotions.

These deals have continued throughout the lockdown and cover everything from garden items to beauty products.

Although new deals are regularly introduced, they are only ever brought out on a limited basis.

This means customers need to be quick to pick them up.

Recently, Aldi brought out a range of ‘Grow Your Own’ sets for children.

There were three versions available, a dinosaur, a unicorn and a bee.

The kits were on sale for £3.99 and suitable for children aged six and older.

The kits included paints, seeds and a planter to help children make grow their own plants.

A description of the unicorn set on Aldi’s website said: “Your kids can now learn about how plants grow in the garden with the help of this fun Kids Grown Your Own Kits Unicorn.

“This unicorn themed kit contains paints, a brush, stickers, seeds to start growing and much more!”

The affordable set seems like a great way to get children enjoying the garden.

However, the items were so popular that they completely sold out online.

Posting on Facebook, one woman shared sets and was quickly flooded with comments of others trying to get their hands on the product.

One wrote: “Has anyone actually managed to find one yet?”

Another tagged their friend and commented: “Can you grab me one next time you’re in Aldi.”

A similar post read: “Can you please check for me in your store.”

While the products have sold out online, customers hoping to buy a kit could be in luck.

Shoppers can check the Special Buys area of their local shop to find out if the product is still available for them.
