We're finally far enough into 2018 that the term "wedding" is no longer automatically associated with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. And while it may seem like each day brings a newly engaged celebrity couple—we're looking at you, Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson, not to mention Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin—there's also been no shortage of elaborate affairs taking place in the present, particularly ever since summer wedding season rolled around. Models like Erin Wasson, Caroline Brasch Nielsen, and Emily DiDonato are just some who've seized the moment as of late, giving fashion its marital moment ahead of Marc Jacobs's union with his hot candlemaker fiancé Char DeFrancesco. Meanwhile, Kanye West's socks and sandals nearly stole the show at Pusha T's ceremony at the Versace Mansion, which couldn't have been more different from Game of Thrones stars Kit Harrington and Rose Leslie's wedding at a castle in Scotland. See for yourself with a look at the most over-the-top, notable weddings so far this year, here.

Vincent Cassel and Tina Kunakey

Vincent Cassel, 52, headed to a city hall in southwestern France to marry the 21-year-old model Tina Kunakey. They've already landed a magazine cover together, and Cassel has already addressed their age difference by declaring, "I’m very much in love and sure we are going to make babies."

Caroline Brasch Nielsen and Frederik Bille Brahe

The Danish model Caroline Brasch Nielsen and her now husband Frederik Bille Brahe, a chef, took over the canals of Copenhagen for a day in August for a ceremony complete with sunflowers and their pet border collie.

Emily DiDonato and Kyle Peterson

The model Emily DiDonato headed for the mountains of Colorado to marry the financier Kyle Peterson, just four years after they met by sitting next to each other on a plane DiDonato had boarded for an Australian Vogue cover shoot.

2 Chainz and Kesha Ward

Tauheed Epps, aka 2 Chainz, and Kesha Ward—seen here with their three children, Heaven, Harmony, and Halo—took over the ridiculously over-the-top Versace Mansion for a ceremony that drew the likes of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, the latter of whom caused a scene when he showed up wearing socks and sandals.

Robin Wright and Clement Giraudet

Before heading off to honeymoon in Spain, House of Cards star Robin Wright—who divorced Sean Penn in 2010—quietly married her Clement Giraudet, the head of VIP relations at Saint Laurent, in a quiet, largely social media-free wedding in France.

Lolita Jacobs and Jean-Baptiste Talbourdet-Napoleone

Seven years after meeting him at a club in Paris, the stylist and creative director Lolita Jacobs married Jean-Baptiste Talbourdet-Napoleone in Saint-Tropez, wearing a dress casually designed by her old pal Simon Porte Jacquemus.

Hilary Swank and Philip Schneider

Actress Hilary Swank and social venture entrepreneur Philip Schneider opted for a Burning Man-themed ceremony in the Redwoods this August, which included a silent disco.

Erin Wasson and Bart Tassy

Erin Wasson and her pals, who all just so happened to wear pink, took over Austin on the day that the model wed her partner of two years, the restaurateur Bart Tassy, in some very ruffly Vivienne Westwood.

Vanessa Paradis and Samuel Benchetrit

Actress and eternal Chanel muse Vanessa Paradis tucked her ex Johnny Depp a bit further away into her past when she married the director Samuel Benchetrit in a small ceremony outside of Paris at the end of June. Their union turns out to have brought about one for her daughter Lily-Rose Depp and Benchetrit's son Jules Benchetrit, who's pretty much the Timothée Chalamet of France, too.

Pusha T and Virginia Williams

Terrence Thornton, aka Pusha T, married his partner of 11 years, Virginia Williams, in their hometown of Virginia Beach. The ceremony also happened to mark Dior Homme newbie Kim Jones's first foray into bridal design.

Kaley Cuoco and Karl Cook

In case you didn't know that her new husband, Karl Cook, is an equestrian, he and the actress Kaley Cuoco took care to hold their wedding at a horse stable in San Diego and wed beneath a giant feathered and floral horseshoe. (They also invited miniature ponies to join in on the festivities.)

Myla Dalbesio and Nathan Hageman

Model and artist Myla Dalbesio painstakingly tracked down a lavender wedding dress just like her late mother's to marry Nathan Hageman at a ceremony on the beach in Tulum.

Kaley Cuoco and Karl Cook

Before she put her hair in a ponytail and switched into her cozier Tadashi Shoji jumpsuit to celebrate, Cuoco wore a lacy Reem Acra gown and cape to marry Cook.

Felicity Jones and Charles Guard

After three years of low-key dating, the actress Felicity Jones married the director Charles Guard in a so-called secret castle wedding, which brought Tom Hanks and her former costar Eddie Redmayne all the way out to Gloucestershire.

Rose Leslie and Kit Harington

Game of Thrones stars Rose Leslie and Kit Harington got married on Saturday, June 23, in Aberdeen, Scotland, eight months after getting engaged. The series’ cast, including Sophie Turner, Maisie Williams, Emilia Clarke, and Peter Dinklage, and many of the couple’s other closest friends were all there for the ceremony. (Read more about all the details of the wedding here.)

Tabitha Simmons and Topper Mortimer

Outfitted in Dolce & Gabbana, the house for which she's also a stylist, the shoe designer and editor Tabitha Simmons married the financier Topper Mortimer at a church on Manhattan's Upper East Side in front of a crowd that included Sienna Miller.

Emma Rosenzweig and Tal Rosenzweig

Also in early June, the model and Danish It girl Emma Leth, who now goes by Emma Rosenzweig, made like Bella Hadid posing topless in a gigantic straw hat in Mexico by marrying the artist Tal Rosenzweig in a show-stealing cap of her own, designed by Jacquemus. (She may not have gone topless, but she did keep things semi-nude in a translucent lace slip.)

Mr. & Mrs. Hilton ✨????✨ #TessaBarron2018

Barron Hilton and Tessa Gräfin von Walderdorff

Over in St. Barts, Barron Hilton, aka Nicky Rothschild and Paris Hilton's younger brother, married fellow socialite Tessa Gräfin von Walderdorff in a ceremony that naturally ended with Paris DJ'ing.

Hugh Grant and Anna Eberstein

Hugh Grant abruptly brought his reputation as an avowed singleton to an end when he married Anna Eberstein, with whom he has three children, just days after news broke that they were engaged. (They still managed to keep things relatively quiet, though, by marring at the Chelsea Register Office in London.)

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle

At this point, if you don't know pretty much every detail from the royal wedding that took place this June, from Meghan Markle's Givenchy gown to Prince Harry's unmissable, rule-breaking red beard, you've probably been—quite enviably—living under a rock.

Brody Jenner and Kaitlynn Carter

Things got off to a rocky start for former The Hills star (and one of the least paparazzi-plagued Kardashian-Jenners) Brody Jenner and blogger Kaitlynn Carter and their destination wedding in Indonesia. There were reports that only one of two of Jenner's parents would be attending, seeing as
Caitlyn Jenner apparently had "previously scheduled work commitments"—which turned out to be letting loose at a charity event that also happens to be a bacchanal—and Jenner himself admitted that he never heard back from his half-sisters Kendall and Kylie regarding their RSVPs. By the time they'd holed up in a treehouse on the island of Niki Sumba for a week, though, all seemed to have been forgotten for the couple, who held a beachside ceremony on what they came to call "#jennerisland."

Aidy Bryant and Conner O'Malley

Aidy Bryant held her wedding to the comedy writer Conner O'Malley in—gasp!—Brooklyn, against the backdrop of the expose brick of the Wythe Hotel (and in the company of some of her costars from SNL).
