He’s delivering a case of the creeps.
A UK Amazon driver disturbed the internet after he was filmed breathing on a customer’s window and writing a message in the water vapor, Deadline News reported.
“We just thought it was really creepy,” said Jonathan Doblips from Ilkeston, Derbyshire, who noticed the strange behavior after viewing his CCTV footage. He later uploaded the video to Amazon’s UK Facebook page with caption: “Excuse me but what is this delivery driver doing on my window?”
In the unsettling 36-second clip, which has since been removed from Facebook, the masked driver can be seen trudging up to the house’s window after no one answers the door. He then proceeds to blow on the glass and uses his finger to scrawl an unseen note in the condensation. Doblips surmised that the impromptu graffiti artist was oblivious to the “camera warning signs.”
Despite not being able to make out the steamy correspondence, the incensed homeowner deemed the act “highly inappropriate.”
“I had to play the video a few times as I felt angry that a stranger was looking into my lounge,” Doblips fumed.
Amazon is currently investigating the bizarre incident, according to Deadline.
“We are taking this matter seriously and have reached out to the customer to make this right,” the E-bazaar said. “We have very high standards for our delivery service providers and how they serve customers.”
This isn’t the first time an Amazon courier’s inappropriate behavior has been caught on camera. In May, a deliveryman was filmed spitting on a customer’s parcel after dropping it off on their front porch.
