Filipino restaurant Tamà is serving up a bright purple burger at its hip Bed-Stuy nook.
The bun gets its royal hue from ube, a purple yam that’s common in Filipino cuisine.
The homemade bun is slathered in chili-garlic hot sauce and chili aioli, then topped with a fried egg, local greens and a patty made of sisig — a Filipino dish that consists of chopped pig head and liver, citrus and chili pepper.
The Sisig Burger is available for at Tamà through the weekend, and may become a menu mainstay if it’s successful. Tama’s owner and chef Miguel de Leon tells The Post, “I think it will be!”
