One lucky player could become the UK’s third-biggest lottery winner ever with a £144 million rollover jackpot on in three days time.
With no EuroMillions player matching all five main numbers and two Lucky Star numbers in Tuesday’s draw, the jackpot on Friday is an estimated £144 million.
Andy Carter, senior winners’ adviser at The National Lottery, said: "The EuroMillions jackpot rolls on to an amazing estimated £144 million after no ticket matched all five main numbers and two Lucky Star numbers in tonight’s draw.
"We urge all players to get their tickets early to ensure they are in with a chance of winning this incredible jackpot on Friday night."
Tuesday’s National Lottery EuroMillions winning numbers were 06, 34, 36, 41 and 50 while the Lucky Stars were 01 and 05.
UK players have been enjoying a lucky streak in recent months with Patrick and Frances Connolly, from Moira, Co Down, scooping almost £115 million in the EuroMillions jackpot on New Year’s Day to become the UK’s fourth-biggest lottery winners.
Their win followed builder Andrew Clark, 51, from Boston, Lincolnshire, discovering in November he had won £76 million, six weeks after the draw.
In July 2011, Colin and Chris Weir, from Ayrshire, became the biggest lottery winners in the UK, and across Europe, when they scooped more than £161 million.
Adrian and Gillian Bayford, from Suffolk, took home more than £148 million in August 2012 while the biggest prize awarded in the country in 2018 was £121 million, handed to an anonymous winner in April.
Tuesday’s National Lottery Thunderball winning numbers were 16, 21, 26, 36, 38 and the Thunderball was 08.
