As you probably already know, Hilary Duff (A.K.A. Lizzie McGuire, A.K.A. the woman who basically invented bitmojis) is pregnant with her second child. Every twenty-something’s favorite child star announced the big news earlier this month on Instagram and now she’s back at it again with the cutest sex reveal party.
Yesterday, Duff posted an Instagram video of her party, and when she found out what the sex of her baby is, she looked almost as excited as when she danced to “I Want Candy” with Aaron Carter on Lizzie McGuire. All at once, her friends, family, and boyfriend Matthew Koma, popped some confetti cannons and pink confetti went flying everywhere, so like, she’s definitely having a girl.
This is sort of a surprise but also not really because didn’t Duff mention making a “little princess” when she first announced she was pregnant? I wouldn’t blame you if you missed that little detail in her original post earlier this month.
Apparently, the party happened back on Mother’s Day so that explains why she’s been calling her baby a princess. She also once told Ryan Seacrest that she she loves having a son, but would love to have one girl and one boy.
“My sister has girls and I feel like I’m really girly,” Duff told Seacrest. “But for the past six years I’ve bought monsters and trucks and planes and Luca’s into all the boy stuff, so everything’s blue and green and I was just ready for pink and purple stuff.”
Now that she knows the sex of her baby and has one of each, it’s time to start picking names!
IMO, Isabella would be the perfect complement to Luca, her son’s name.
