A beanbag burst in a women’s house leaving the hallway covered in 60 cubic feet of polystyrene beads in viral video.

Ebony Pennington, 19, from Wigan, Manchester, was left with the tedious task of cleaning up the tiny beads which took her and her family five hours.

She explained the incident happened when her brother Ethan, 21, was bringing the bean bag down the stairs, to move it to his new house, and the the zip burst. 

The hilarious video racked up 1.2 million views and over 20,000 likes on her TikTok page @ebonyp7989.

She said: ‘It was a massive bean bag I bought on Amazon, my brother tried to move it to his new house. Unfortunately it had other intentions.’ 

Speaking to the MailOnline she said: ‘We managed to clear all the beads by filling laundry baskets and filling the bean bag back up. 

Ebony admitted it took five hours to clean up all the tiny balls and she is still finding some around the house. 

‘It took us roughly 5 hours to get what we could. We are still finding the beans in our shoes and in the cracks of the door.

‘It happened when my brother was bringing the bean bag down the stairs to move to his new house. 

‘Then the zip burst on the stairs filling all the stairs, the hallway and going under the cracks of the doors to the other rooms. 

‘We were laughing for the first 2 minutes until we realised this is going to take a while to pick all of this up.’

Ebony simply captioned the video ‘oops’ and many people flocked to the comments section to share their thoughts on the funny situation.

One person wrote: ‘At this point you’re just better off buying a new house.’ To which Ebony replied: ‘You’re probably right.’ 

She continued: ‘Iv never known anything like it, they literally stick all the way up your doors because they are static.’ 

When asked did she ‘cry or laugh?’ She said: ‘Found it funny for approximately 2 minutes then went down hill from there.’ 

Another wrote: ‘We tried to fill a beanbag once and that was bad enough! Didn’t speak for days and nearly thought about murder once or twice!!’

To which Ebony replied: ‘Thought the mother was going to once or twice.’
