Kate Middleton took inspiration from her sister-in-law Meghan Markle when picking out jewellery for her latest appearance.

The mother-of-three had joined her husband Prince William as they carried out three royal engagements in London on Tuesday 15 September.

As well as donning a red dress by Beulah London which she wore earlier this year on a Zoom call, the Duchess of Cambridge also sported a pair of stunning rhodochrosite gold mini pyramid charm hoops by London-based jewellery brand Missoma.

The rhodochrosite hoops which feature a pale pink stone are available on the brand's website for £85.

They are part of the gemstone collection, and are described as "a heart-based healing crystal that radiates love, compassion and all-around good vibes".

It's not the first time Kate has chosen to follow in the footsteps of Prince Harry's wife Meghan as she chose to wear their Gold Zenyu Chandelier Hoops during her tour of Pakistan last year.

The royal couple, both 38, first visited London Bridge Job Centre before visiting East London Mosque and London Muslim Centre in Whitechapel.

The third and final stop on Kate and William’s busy day was to Beigel Bake Brick Lane Bakery.

Kate wore her brunette hair down in bouncy curls, while both she and William wore protective face mask, her £550 red dress was finished off with Ralph Lauren heels at £480.

Meghan Markle has been known for her modern take on accessories with her collection of stunning gold jewellery.

The Duchess of Sussex often sported rings and bracelets by online high street designer Missoma during royal appearances alongside husband Prince Harry.

The brand – already very popular with celebrities and influencers – is known for its statement pieces.

Meghan has previously worn the brand's Mantra Open Heart Signet Ring, which she teamed with the Double Chain Bracelet and the Rainbow Moonstone Beaded Leaf Bracelet.

The brand, which was created by Marisa Hordern, also has plenty of other famous fans including Gigi Hadid and Margot Robbie.

Marisa told Harpers Bazaar in March about how the royals and other celebs wearing the brand helps: "It is generally good for the brand but we don’t really see spikes as such. It tends to just show how versatile the pieces are in terms of who wears it and how it can be worn. For example, Margot Robbie has been seen wearing it surfing and on the red carpet.

"It's also great to see cross-generational support like recently when Kaia Gerber and Cindy Crawford both wore it – I loved that, it reminded me of how I started the business, with my mother around the kitchen table."
