As non-essential shops open their doors once again, we recommend taking a trip to your nearest Primark store, as this week the affordable high street brand announced an exciting new beauty collaboration with Love Island star Maura Higgins.

Maura has partnered up with Primark to launch a gorgeous collection of false lashes for the festive season. They’re just the thing to get you feeling glam for Christmas, whether you’re joining friends for a Zoom cocktail party, having a virtual date night or tucking into a roast dinner with your family – and they’re super affordable.

Available this week in Primark stores, Maura has created three separate sets, which the brand claim all “reflect the cheeky attributes of Maura’s personality”.

The “See Ya” style is perfect for those wanting a natural everyday finish, the "Show Off" lashes are fluffy and give added definition, and the star of the show is the “Party Animal” set – perfect for creating those dramatic, ultra-glam eye looks.

Primark is already known for its affordable beauty, and Maura’s new false lash collection False Flutters has of course followed suit, as shoppers can pick up a pair for just £5 each.

Speaking about her new collection with Primark, Maura says, “I can’t believe that I’ve created a range of false lashes that are going to be sold exclusively in Primark.”

Being an Irish brand and named Penneys in Ireland, Maura seemed excited to be working with a brand so close to home.

“It was a no brainer to work with Primark on this lash collection as they’re an Irish owned company and I’ve shopped in Primark (Penneys) for years, so to see my own product that I’ve created on the shelves is a dream come true,” she says.

Maura added, “I love that Primark makes being glam so affordable for everyone.”

We agree with Maura – just last week, the high street superstore announced the launch ofits first ever CBD beauty range, with skincare and make-up products starting from just £2.50.

From soothing serums to clay masks and even colour-correcting concealers, the new range has everything you need to keep your skin looking flawless through the winter months.

Thanks to Primark and its affordable beauty products, we’ll be filling our baskets (and our stockings) this year with some gorgeous skincare, make-up and false lashes – without breaking the bank.
