Rose West has reportedly moaned about sleeping with a pillow over her head due to noisy fellow prisoners.

The serial killer, convicted of 10 murders, reportedly said the loud lags are keeping her up at night as she struggles to settle in after being moved to New Hall Prison in West Yorkshire.

West, who cruelly tortured and sexually abused her victims, has said the pacing of staff in the corridors and shouting of other inmates disrupts her sleep, reports the Daily Star .

A source told the paper: "West has moaned to fellow inmates that she is turning in with a pillow over her head to try and escape the racket, but she still can't get any shut eye.

"It's bedlam on the unit at night.

"Officers who do a week of nights are shattered when they come off the rota. The place is a madhouse and the noise from the women is horrendous."

Twisted West, now 65, resides in the Rivendell wing after she reportedly chose to move there away from the prison's general population.

The specialist unit has its own private kitchen, where keen baker West makes cakes and other treats.

She is also said to have use of a vegetable patch and flowerbeds.

Earlier this year it was revealed West had been moved from her previous top-security Low Newton jail for fears she would be attacked.

West’s move comes amid her failing health in recent years.

She has complained of struggling to walk up stairs  as her knees hurt and her eyesight is said to be failing.
