Catherine Zeta-Jones has it all, and she isn’t apologising for it anytime soon.

Yes, the Oscar-winning actress is very rich, very famous and very beautiful, and frankly she is “sick of being humble” about the whole thing. Fair play.

“One thing I’m not is humble any more,” Catherine told the Daily Mirror. “I’m sick of being humble. I really am. ‘So sorry I’m rich, so sorry I’m married to a movie star, so sorry I’m not so bad looking.’

“No sorrys. Enough. All that is important to me now is my work. That’s what I love and the rest of my life is a joy because I’ve got two beautiful kids and a healthy, happy husband. It’s all good, and I’m not going to be humble for that either.”

It’s basically that Princess Catherine Zeta Douglas Spartacus Jones sketch come to life.

We wish we had that confidence, to be honest – though with that much money, fame, Michael Douglas and an Oscar to boot, who wouldn’t?

However, she does partly put that lack of modesty down to her upbringing, the star adding: “I come from a working-class family in Wales and I worked to get to where I am. And for many years all of us are victims of the fact that we’ve all got so humble.

“If you were a sports star and won an award you would go, ‘Shit yeah, that was the best work I’ve ever done, I rocked!’ Whereas actors are like, ‘Oh I’m so sorry and thanks… can I say thanks?'”

Catherine most recently starred in Feud: Bette and Joan, and will soon be seen in the Facebook series Queen America.
