Kym Marsh celebrated her return to the gym this weekend, as she recovers after suffering an injury.

The 44-year-old former Coronation Street star admitted she was back on the "right road" in her fitness journey, as she pumped iron in the gym.

Sharing a post-workout selfie with her followers, Kym looked toned as ever in a cropped pink sports bra, her abs on full display.

She paired the look with some low-slung leggings, decorated with a black and magenta design.

With her hair pulled back in a pink scrunchie and a pair of trainers on her feet, the actress looked thrilled to be back on track with her workouts.

She said: "After being set back by an injury, I'm finally getting back at it.

"Slowly, slowly, but at least I'm back on the right road! Happy Saturday people"

Kym added: "Ps: excuse the sweaty tummy."

Taking to the comment section below, Kym's fans begged her for some workout tips, as they praised her gym-honed physique.

One said: "Wow u look great share with me how u have done it Kym. Badly needing to lose weight and get fit x"

"You look amazing, I need to get back to it. So hard when you have a break," added a second.

And a third gushed: "Beautiful lady! I need some motivation!!"

For fans hoping to follow in Kym's footsteps, the former soap star has released her very own fitness DVD, outlining the steps she takes to get in shape.

Titled "Power Sculpt," the workout film was released in 2015, pegged as an "intelligent fitness" programme to manipulate hormones and physiology.

Opening up about her decision to create the programme at the time, she said: "There's too much focus on being skinny these days and I didn't want to be skinny, I wanted to be healthier, fitter and have more energy – and of course look good."
