Rapper Paid Will has died at the age of 27 just months after his co-star Jizzle P was shot dead.
The star's bandmate, Bandgang Masoe, appeared to confirm the news via his official Twitter account.
However, Paid Will's family are yet to release a statement.
Alongside broken heart emojis, Masoe tweeted: "RIP Paid Will I'm crushed lil bro I'm sorry."
Paid was from Detroit and was part of the rap collective group known as BandGang.
The band formed in 2008 and went on to find success with their albums like Untouchable, The Family, and WDW 2.
On Tuesday the rapper was first reported dead in a tweet from SayCheeseTV which quickly went viral, but there was no further confirmation at the time.
The account posted: "Popular Detroit rapper 'Bandgang Paid Will' has reportedly passed away. RIP."
The last time the star posted on social media was on Instagram on Thanksgiving Day to flaunt his watch and shoes.
He posted: "I can count the money with a blindfold.
"I can count a hunnit with a blindfold.
"200 on a dash hard to drive slow.
"Never been a lick u can try doe. This chain I got on you'll die fo'."
Since the news of his death broke, the comments section of his final post has been flooded with tributes from his beloved fans.
The tragedy of Paid's death comes just months after his fellow BandGang member Jizzle P was shot dead.
In September, fellow rapper Jizzle P was gunned down on Detroit's west side after an unknown suspect fired multiple shots into a vehicle, according to Fox2.
The star, whose birth name is Aaron Mays, was only 25-years-old.
