The AA have just revealed their top B&Bs in the UK for 2018.

The AA has rated thousands of B&Bs across the country over the last hundred years by their inspector, who travel to every end of the UK.

Here in Britain, a Bed and Breakfast is a private house run by the owner, with accommodation for no more than six paying guests.

B and Bs applying for AA recognition are visited by one of the AA’s inspectors as a mystery guest, who then check for everything from the accommodation and food to the levels of hospitality.

But the best of the bunch are awarded at the B&B Awards, with the winners featuring quirky extras like zebra wallpaper, free cakes in the bedroom and and welcome drinks by the fire.
