However, there are tricks to get even cheaper rooms and get unlimited breakfast.
The popular £29 rooms are some of the hardest offers to find, although there are a number of ways you can track them down.
Your best best at finding these are to book 325 days in advance.
You can also try booking on a Sunday and booking properties outside of London.
But there are other ways to score even cheaper rooms, and make the most of your meals.
Hungry guests can make the most of the bottomless breakfast offer, which costs just £8.75 for adults.
Cooked options include a full English breakfast featuring eggs, bacon, sausages, hash browns, beans and toast or you could opt for vegetarian sausages.
For a lighter breakfast, fruit salads, yoghurts, croissants and cereals are also included.
Coffee, tea and juice is unlimited as well.
Travelling with kids under 15? They can eat for free.
Students can get a discount with the hotel brand as well.
Using Student Beans, guests can get five per cent off their stay for up to two nights.
But you have to sign up for the service first.
Business travellers can also save five per cent on their rooms if they're part of the Travelodge Business scheme.
The allocated rooms are also on a quieter business floor so guests can get a much better night's sleep.
Even if you're not a student or business traveller, you can still get a discount by signing up to the Travelodge newsletter.
A five per cent discount code for your first bookings will be sent via email after you sign up.
While not advertised on the website, previous guests have shared some of the ways Travelodge went above and beyond for birthdays and special days.
One woman said on TripAdvisor that they were given a room with balloons, wine and a birthday card, while Michael Jones on Twitter was given some chocolates and a card for his birthday.
However the best bargains are found if you choose to work for Travelodge – offers include 50 per cent off rooms and food, a £50 e-voucher every year, ten per cent for friends and family as well as discounts on mobile contracts and home furniture.
Brits looking to get married can choose Travelodge and get their wedding night for free.
Included in the package is a wedding planner, personalised website, as well as the option for guests to book their rooms at the hotel.
