A new water park opening in May is sure to make for a once-in-a-lifetime experience for families.
For a start, it’s opening on a private island in the Bahamas – and you can only reach it by cruise ship.
Then there are all the seriously cool features including 13 waterslides, the Caribbean’s largest wave pool, and also the tallest waterslide in North America aptly named ‘Daredevil’s Peak’.
It will also feature terrifying slide ‘Daredevil’s Peak’, which will become the tallest waterslide in North America – if you can keep your eyes open, you may get to see some pretty incredible views!
Basically, it’s going to be a serious contender for the world’s best water parks .
The Thrill Waterpark will be on offer at Royal Caribbean’s brand new private island Perfect Day at CocoCay.
The island will open later this year following a $200million transformation (approx £151million), and it will offer plenty more dream holiday fodder for families.
We’re talking two specially designed beaches, the Caribbean’s largest freshwater pool, and for thrill-seekers, a 1,600-foot zip line across the island!
Ten Royal Caribbean ships will include CocoCay in itineraries in 2019, while 2020 sailings will stay later in the evenings.
The company is looking to start offering overnight stays on the island from 2021.
