LEGOLAND are looking for someone to play with Lego all day long – and will even pay you to do it.

The Master Model Builder will be expected to design and create all of the displays at Legoland Discovery Center in the US, which is opening next year.

The full-time job, based in California, will also require you to look after all of the models as well as represent the centre as a media spokesperson.

Being good with other people is also recommended as you will be expected to deliver workshops and mentor young children between three and ten years old.

The job application states: "The Master Model Builder is the ultimate Playmaker who is a talented LEGO® builder who can make LEGO® building fun, leading workshops for the little LEGO® builders of the future and takes ownership of the LEGOLAND Discovery Center creative workshop.

"As well as having the talent and creativity to build with LEGO®, and inspiring children (aged 3-10), the Master Model Builder must also attend media appearances and be comfortable in the public eye.

"The Master Model Builder will participate in building events, corporate events and PR related activities which will require them to serve as a spokesperson for the attraction."

To submit your application, you must send a two minute video explaining why you are suited for the job as well as any amazing creations of your own.

The competition will then take place on January 18 and January 19 at The Great Mall of the Bay Area, where you will battle it out to build masterpieces with other applicants.

Legolands Discovery Center is due to opening spring 2020.

Inside will be two Lego rides, Miniland, a 4D cinema and themed playing zones.

Legoland is opening in New York next year, which will be the biggest Lego theme park yet with 50 new rides.

A Legoland water park is also opening next year at Italy's Gardaland Resort.

Closer to home, Legoland Windsor is giving away free tickets today, saving £26 per person.
