Universal Studios ' Halloween Horror Nights have become a must for any thrill-seekers, and once again they're pulling out all the stops for the annual event.

But this year, if you find yourself lost in the spooky goings on, who you gonna call?

Yep, you got it – get ready to be thrown into the world of classic hit film Ghostbusters !

We're talking recreations of iconic scenes, plenty of beloved characters making an appearance and, of course, heaps of supernatural spirits.

In each maze you'll get to follow in the footsteps of the Ghostbusters squad – Peter, Ray, Egon and Winston – through the firehouse, New York Public Library and even the Temple of Gozer.

Just keep an eye out for that ectoplasm, as well as some of those paranormal creatures from Slimer to the all-powerful Gozer the Gozerian (and yes, there will be an appearance from the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man!).

It's a fitting tribute considering the classic 1984 hit is celebrating its 35th anniversary!

Both Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood will feature the immersive mazes.

Universal's Halloween Horror Nights will kick off on Friday 6th September in Orlando and on Friday 13th September in Hollywood.

You can find out more on the Halloween Horror Nights website .
