A teenager is in critical condition after a fender bender sparked a bloody stabbing in Brooklyn.
The alleged assault unfolded when the teen’s father, who was driving a BMW, collided with a white Cadillac at 60th Street and 4th Avenue around 2 a.m., according to police.
The drivers exchanged insurance information and went their separate ways.
But a short time later, the Cadillac crew — apparently unhappy with the exchange of paperwork — showed up to the BMW driver’s home just steps from the accident site to confront him, police said.
When his 19-year-old son came outside, the argument turned physical, and the son was stabbed multiple times in the neck and chest, according to police.
A neighbor, who said he was woken up by “girls screaming,” came outside to find the teen bleeding badly and multiple people trying to plug the wound.
“He really looked like he was dying,” said the witness, who declined to provide his name. “Everybody was full of blood. They were trying to stop the bleeding.”
A woman wearing a blood-soaked shirt was seen in a video taken by a bystander speaking to a detective, and the pavement was splattered with blood.
The attackers fled, and the teen was taken to NYU Langone Hospital, where he was expected to survive, police said.
