A former Trump campaign staffer who’s suing the campaign for harassment said in court Tuesday she should be released from a nondisclosure agreement that prevents her from discussing her experience.
Jessica Denson, who ran Hispanic outreach for the 2016 campaign, claims she was harassed by her boss in a Manhattan Supreme Court lawsuit.
Her $25 million suit against the campaign says her boss’ superiors did nothing to stop him from spreading false rumors about her including the claim that she was behind the leak of Trump’s tax filings.
Denson is representing herself in the 2017 suit. Tuesday was the first day she appeared in court.
The Trump campaign’s lawyer, Patrick McPartland, countered that the dispute belongs in arbitration.
