FORMER Blue Peter presenter John Leslie has today arrived at court accused of groping a woman.
The 55-year-old faces a charge of sexual assault relating to unwanted sexual touching of a woman in 2008.
Leslie was pictured wearing a mask outside Southwark Crown Court this morning.
The trial is expected to last three days.
Leslie, real name John Leslie Stott, joined Blue Peter in 1989 and remained with the show until 1994.
He also hit the headlines for high-profile relationships with actress Catherine Zeta-Jones and model Abi Titmuss.
Leslie became a household name in the 1980s and 1990s with stints on daytime TV favourites Blue Peter, This Morning and Wheel of Fortune.
In 1998, he took over from Bradley Walsh as the main presenter of game show Wheel of Fortune, before joining This Morning a year later.
He was replaced on the morning show by Phillip Schofield in 2002.
Between 2012 and 2016, Leslie had short stints as a radio DJ in Scotland with Castle FM and Bauer Radio.
