Hole-y moley! Concept superyacht features a 200ft EMPTY SPACE (but is still big enough for six VIP suites)

  • The 226-foot superyacht ‘Shape’ features an arc or a ‘hole deck’ of empty space in the middle of its structure
  • Futuristic design for the luxury yacht has been revealed by Italian design studio, complete with six VIP suites
  • Other impressive features include a glass-bottom infinity pool, a diving platform, and helipad on the top deck

A sleek new yacht concept with a gaping hole in the middle has been unveiled by an Italian design studio.

The aptly named ‘Shape’ concept, by Lazzarini Design Studio, imagines a 226-foot vessel with a giant void right in the middle of its structure.

The superyacht would stand out from the rest with a striking silhouette and clean lines. it would be 226 feet (69 meters) long and is 29.5 feet wide (9 meters).

The standout feature is the arc, or ‘hole deck’ as Lazzarini calls it, that can be customised to size for each owner.
