An infant boy was clinging to life Sunday after a car crash in Suffolk County, cops said.
The accident happened at about 7 p.m. Saturday as Deliela Gonzalez, 33, tried to make a u-turn in North Patchogue while heading southbound on North Ocean Avenue in her 2017 Honda sedan, with her four kids inside, police said.
The Honda was hit by a 2007 Mercedes-Benz near Shaber Road — sending both cars into the northbound shoulder, according to cops.
Gonzalez’s 2-month-old son was rushed to Long Island Community Hospital before being moved to Stony Brook University Hospital, where he was critical Sunday morning, police said.
The Copiague mother and her three daughters — ages 4, 8 and 13 — were taken to Long Island Community Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries, cops said.
The driver of the Benz, 33-year-old Jeremy Layton, was treated for minor injuries at the same hospital, according to police.
