The winner matched all six numbers to secure the big-money prize, after £17.1million was won last month.
The lucrative winning numbers on Saturday were 25, 46, 13, 16, 09, 40 and the bonus number was 52.
Set of balls six was used in draw machine Arthur. It was draw number 2,356.
Andy Carter, senior winners' adviser at The National Lottery, said: "Four weeks after a single ticket-holder scooped the entire £17.1million jackpot, we now have another big Lotto jackpot winner.
"This single ticket-holder has banked Saturday's £7.7million Lotto jackpot. All players are urged to check their tickets to see if they are The National Lottery's latest Lotto jackpot winner."
After the night's big winner, one person also matched five of the six numbers plus the bonus ball, earning £72,716.
Some 85 people matched five numbers to win £900, while 6,009 people matched four numbers to win £82. A further 132,766 matched three numbers to win £25.
No-one succeeded in claiming the £500,000 Thunderball jackpot, nor were there any winners for the £350,000 top prize in the Lotto HotPicks.
The winning Thunderball numbers were 27, 39, 32, 28, 33 and the Thunderball number was 03.
