A Bronx man was shot and killed when he answered a knock at his girlfriend’s bedroom door Sunday night, police said.
Orlando Concepcion, 25, was with his girlfriend in her room at her Morris Avenue apartment around 7:15 p.m. when he heard the knock, cops said Sunday.
Concepcion emerged and closed the door behind him before they began arguing in the Melrose apartment hallway, police said.
The gunman suddenly opened fire, shooting Concepcion in the head before fleeing.
Concepcion’s 18-year-old girlfriend heard the shots and called 911 when she discovered his lifeless body. She was interviewed by cops, but is not considered a suspect, police said.
There were no signs of forced entry and the investigation is ongoing.
