Victoria has recorded no new cases of coronavirus and no further deaths, for the ninth day in a row.

There are two cases in the state with an unknown source and Victoria's 14-day average for new cases is now 0.4.

Premier Daniel Andrews is expected to announce further easing of restrictions later today.

On Friday, he foreshadowed rule changes that would go beyond those already expected under the government's roadmap

The crisis cabinet of seven key ministers met on Friday and Saturday to discuss Sunday’s easing and another relaxation of rules on November 23, which could result in Victoria's restrictions loosening to similar levels as other states.

The cabinet, chaired by Mr Andrews, was considering when it might be appropriate for people to switch to wearing masks only in high-risk settings.

The government was also considering whether to increase the number of people who can visit a home from two, plus dependents.
