Shirley Ballas wants to have her breast implants removed after a TV show revealed she has a family history of cancer.
The Strictly judge, 59, discovered that her great grandfather died of the disease.
She said: “I’ve had breast augmentation. It makes me take a step back and think when you go for these mammograms: ‘Can you see at the back? Is it clear what you can see?’
“It’s making me sit back and think: ‘Shall I remove them? Would it be a good safety precaution for me?’”
The dancing queen always believed her relative had passed away from a “broken heart” after his wife died. But Shirley learned otherwise on her episode of Who Do You Think You Are?

Last week, the professional dancer saw a doctor to discuss “the best route healthwise” and to get “more information” on having the cosmetic surgery reversed.
Her niece, a nurse, also warned her about the dangers.
Concerns over the safety of boob jobs are mounting and one medical watchdog has warned that a rare form of cancer, which may be linked to the implants, could be under-diagnosed.
Shirley says she has since “become more paranoid about the whole cancer thing.”
She is now planning to host a coffee morning for Macmillan Cancer Support in her south London home to raise funds for the cancer charity.
