Uni chiefs have been branded “insane” for saying white people should be able to identify as black.
It means white snowflakes could be able to copy Ali G and ask: “Is it because I am black?”
The Universities and Colleges Union believes people should be free to choose their gender and their race.
The body – which represents 120,000 UK academics – set out its stance in a report on whether men should be able to self-identify as women and be treated as female regardless of their anatomy.
The union went further, saying it believed race should also be a choice.
It said: “Our rules commit us to ending all forms of discrimination, bigotry and stereotyping.

British comedian Sacha Baron Cohen came under fire in the US over his character Ali G – a white “chav” from Staines who identified as a black rapper.
And This Morning host Piers Morgan said: “Who will stop this insanity?’’
One Twitter user said: “I identify as the Queen and demand current royal family evicted from my house.’’
Another tweeted: “I’m fat but identity as skinny. I’m transfat.’’
One more posted: “I’d like to identify as the locking mechanism on the rear driver side door of a 1998 Toyota Corolla.”
