Addressing his 24,900 Instagram fans, the newest presenter opened up on feeling “overwhelmed” by fans’ reaction to the news.
He said in a new video: “Hi guys, I just wanted to say a massive thank you to all that left me messages, comments, tweets, DM’s [direct messages] about A Place In The Sun.
“I’m massively overwhelmed by it all and very appreciative, and I can’t wait to show you guys what we have worked on so far.”
The newest presenter went on to make a cheeky quip about the congratulatory gifts he’s so far received.
Lee said: “For all those that haven’t sent me brownies, cookies, doughnuts, it’s still not too late – do so.
“But thank you everyone.”
The newest addition to the property programme carved out a name for himself in the entertainment industry, working with the likes of Take That, Lulu and Billy Ocean.
However, Lee has one hand firmly in the property market, having bought and sold projects both at home and abroad for over a decade.
He boasts an impressive property portfolio that features abodes in London, Ibiza and Mauritius.
Speaking about joining the property-hunting show, Lee said: “I can’t wait to help house hunters turn their dream into a reality.”
Lee is no stranger to the camera having modelled for the likes of Samsung.
He is also planning to launch his own sustainable menswear line in the summer, donating the proceeds to UNICEF.
